The Sucarnochee Revue

The next live taping will be at The Temple Theater in Meridian, Mississippi on Friday May 01. Show starts at 7:00 pm. The admission is $5.00.
Sucarnochee Revue Tributes Ed Dye
The Sucarnochee Revue returns to downtown Meridian, Mississippi and the Temple Theatre May 1st at 7 pm for another taping of the nationally syndicated radio show. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door and in advance at the Temple box office.
This month’s Revue is a Bluegrass tribute to the late Cousin Ed Dye, one of the most influential musicians on California and Nashville Bluegrass. Ed performed on the Sucarnochee Revue for the last five years.
Featured artists include several who performed and appeared in the movie "Brother,Where Art Thou":
Pat Enright, Alan O'Bryant, Mike Compton (of the Nashville Bluegrass Band) Grammy Award Winners; Mike Compton; Grammy Award Winner; Mike Armistead, Lester Armistead, Mike Bub (of The Tennessee Mafia Jug Band); Kathy Chiavola;Gene Bush, Bruce Nemerov (The Fedora Brothers) Bruce is a Grammy winner;Mark Wilde (Los Angeles) ; Ethan Byxbe (San Francisco);and Ken Hart (Oxford/Nashville)
Rounding out the guest list will be the acclaimed songwriter Steve Young best known for his song "Seven Bridges Road". He is a pioneer of the Country rock, Americana, and alternative country sounds, and also a vital force behind the 'outlaw movement' that gave support to the careers of Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams, Jr. and more. Steve was also featured in the 1975 Outlaw Country documentary "Heartworn Highways".
Plus, several of the regulars will perform including Jacky Jack White,producer/host; Mississippi Chris Sharp and the Jangalangs ;J. Burton Fuller; and Britt Gully.
