The next live taping will be Friday

The next live taping will be Friday June 05, 2009 in Meridian, Mississippi at The Temple Theater. The admission is $5.00. Show starts at 7:00 pm.
Muscle Shoals Night Filmed at the Temple Theatre

The nationally syndicated radio show Sucarnochee Revue has another live radio taping Friday June 5, 7:00 p.m.at the Historic Temple Theatre in downtown Meridian,Ms. This month's edition features artists from the legendary Muscle Shoals studios from the 1960's through the 1980's. This week's show will also be filmed for television syndication.
Jimmy Johnson who played guitar, engineered, and produced for artists such as Wilson Pickett, Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin, and the Rolling Stones will be featured. Also, Norbert Putnam who played on the very first big hit out of the Shoals, Arthur Alexander's, "You Better Move On" will be on the show. Norbert went out to become Nashville's favorite pop producer and studio owner working with Jackson Browne, Jimmy Buffett,and many others. The rhythm section in Muscle Shoals was referred to in the song "Sweet Home Alabama" as the "Swampers".
Jacky Jack White,host/producer explains,"We are planning to film this show. The television pilot for the Revue has been broadcast in various markets, and well received. So, we are going to test the market with a well produced show. We have stations already expressing interest." The Sucarnochee Revue is broadcast on WMOX-AM in Meridian, Mississippi Public Radio, Alabama Public Radio, and across the nation on a total of sixty radio stations,including fourteen in Australia.
Other guests on the program include: Grammy winner, singer/songwriter,Tricia Walker; Guitar Legend,Wayne Gray (played in the Tex Ritter and Johnny Cash bands); and all the regulars Mississippi Chris Sharp; J.
